These are a bubble type cover and actually increase the water temperature by 6-8 degrees centigrade above the ambient water temperature. They just float on the water and trap the suns rays to heat the pool. If your pool has a heating unit, the solar blanket will reduce evaporation and your fuel and running costs.

Ask about Solarcover and Oasis our standard and premium grade covers. Solarcover is an economical blanket in a clear blue colour. It has smaller bubbles so it is lighter in weight, takes less storage space and has a 2 year warranty. The Oasis blanket is our new heavy duty style with a bigger bubble. It is made thicker and tougher and has a 4 year warranty. These covers have been formulated for the harsh Australian sun and are ideal for areas where there is high UV.

Our Above Ground Leaf Cover is made from a black woven 16x12 (weaves per inch) Polypropylene. It has a generous overlap of 400mm (15") and has a marine grade stretch cord sewn into the hem for easy fitting. The cover simply stretches over the pool top rail (like a big showercap!) and that's it. There are brass grommets fitted at 1.2 metre (4') spacings so you can tie down the cover if you want to use it with a pool cover float (to prevent debris from collecting on top of the cover).
